Looking to unleash the true power of your Harley-Davidson®
A Dynamometer (Dyno) is a machine that measures engine output- horsepower, torque, and fuel mixture. It can test under different engine loads and conditions which enables us to perform several different adjustments to get the maximum performance out of an engine. Note that Performance not only includes maximum power, but just as important is good drivability, good fuel economy, and a smooth transfer of power to the ground with no hesitations or flat spots. Tuning will benefit an engine with only slight modifications, such as an exhaust and air cleaner kit, all the way to a highly modified engine with lots of performance parts. This is due to the fact that a properly tuned engine does not have to work as hard as a poorly tuned engine to do the same job. This results in less wear and longer engine life.
Dyno tuning a motorcycle is not for the ill experienced and can be considered an fine art. Our technicians have been factory trained by Harley-Davidson® Motor Company and Certified by DynoJet.
Certified Power Vision Tuning CenterCertified Power Vision Training Centers have been through our 3-day training course held at Dynojet Research in Las Vegas, Nevada and have their own Dynojet 250/250i/250ix dynamometer for developing tunes. They have been trained by Dynojet in EFI theory and operation for expert EFI calibrating, Power Vision WinPV software, Autotune Basic & Pro and custom EFI map development using the Power Vision on the dynamometer.
Certified Power Vision Tuning Centers are listed online and are the only Dynojet approved tuning centers for customers seeking custom Power Vision tunes created on a Dynojet dynamometer.
Certified Power Vision DealerCertified Power Vision Dealers have been through our ½ day training course and have been provided with all the information they need regarding Power Vision sales and support. Certified Power Vision Dealers are listed online as Approved Locations that can thoroughly support Power Vision sales.
What Is A Dynamometer? A Dynamometer or “Dyno” is a diagnostic tool used to simultaneously measure the rear-wheel horsepower, torque, speed and RPM of any motorcycle. Service technicians then adjust the fuel mixture and timing for optimum performance.
What Are The Benefits? A top-notch experience, for one. Achieving maximum power and efficiency and a noticeable difference in throttle response and gain. Plus, knowing your pre- and post-dyno numbers leaves no questions unanswered. You know you are getting the utmost performance out of your motorcycle.
